In this post, I will be sharing with you guys what I have done during my term break before the start of my Year 2 course.   WHAT did I DO during the break? Before MBBS Stage 2 commenced, there were about 2-3 months (June-Sep) break after my Year 1 final assessment. To be honest, I didn't spend my time in a great way of optimal revision on my Year 1 syllabus. I have been relaxing and 'ENJOYING' my holidays in my hometown. The main reason behind this was the bad habits such as procrastination during holiday mood. Another main factor that I noticed is the conduciveness of the learning/study environment. When I got back home, I couldn't find much space for it due to having a shared room with my sister, and other available rooms packed with storage items. Unlike last few years, due to SOP restrictions, the Cafes nearby were all closed. There was no choice for me to study in the cafes with the optimal working vibe the whole day ...

Life as a MEDICAL STUDENT: MBBS Year 1 Assessment & Examination in NUMed with COVID-19 in 2020/21

In this post, I will be talking about the assessment for MBBS Stage 1 medical students 2020/2021 in Newcastle University of Medicine Malaysia (NUMed ) is conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic . Before we start, please take note that I am a Malaysian student, who was able to attend any on-campus sessions for my first-year MBBS study held under the SOP restrictions.  QUICK INTRO For the Year 2020/2021, MBBS Stage 1 commenced on 21st September 2020 with an induction week. There were 3 semesters : a) Autumn Term:  21st September - 18th December 2020 b) Spring Term: 11th January - 26th March 2021 c) Summer Term:  12th April - 18th June 2021 NUMed teaching is conducted in the form of case-led . 皆さん、こんにちは! Hello everyone. In this post, I will be sharing how the 1st Year MBBS study  2020/2021   in Newcastle University of Medicine Malaysia (NUMed ) is conducted during the  COVID-19 pandemic . The official dates for the first term are from  21st September 2020 to 18th June 2021.  T he teaching in NUMed is mainly conducted virtually online with a few practical sessions for anatomy and clinical skills throughout this year. !! Online Interview for IMU in Malaysia : Local MBBS Programme

Hello there! In this post, I am going to share with you my experience of having the interview for the MBBS programme at International Medical University (IMU) in Malaysia for the August 2020 intake. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I had my medical interview for IMU through online using  ZOOM  and Skype . Basically, ZOOM is the main app for the online interview; Skype was used for contacting for the interview.
